it's incredible to me that there are still people who think folgers is what coffee is supposed to taste like
I imagine folks are buying the cheapest socially-acceptable caffeine* they can buy. I’ve never visited some nice big house somewhere and seen Folgers on the counter.
*aight it’s not just that the even-cheaper pills are cause for glances askew, hot & brown tasting must be desirable even when it’s coming from the worst of the worst hot brown liquids
My wealthy boomer in laws buy Folgers when we go to the beach.

I have always used "Folgers" as a synonym for absolutely shitty undrinkable coffee. So this makes sense honestly.
That and Edwards coffee. Gah!

Haha I think it was the name Edwards. Is that a Canadian brand of other products too? No idea why but I instantly thought it seemed Canadian.
Gevalia is better* for the same price. And while I'm sure Kraft has some skeletons in their closet, they seem like a less shitty company.
*Take my opinion with a grain of salt. I'm a neanderthal that doesn't know/care what "good" coffee is supposed to taste like.

Many many moons ago, I was in highschool and somehow got my hands on a Gevalia coffee catalog. They were offering a free coffee maker with a subscription of coffee. The first coffee shipment of the subscription was free (along with the coffee maker), you just had to pay shipping. And you could cancel any time. So I ordered the subscription, got my two bags of coffee and a coffee maker for about $10 in shipping charges, then immediately canceled.
I don't remember much about the coffee, but that dang coffee maker followed me through high school, college, and a good decade beyond that. It wasn't particularly great, just a regular drip coffee maker, but it lasted forever. I'll never forget that thing.
So avoid JM Smuckers brands. Got it.

Given how fucking shitty that brand is in terms of quality, they must not contribute very much.
They're peddling two amazingly inferior products: a can full of burnt coffee smelling shit and a can of Xtian feces smelling shit. That makes them consistent. And vile.

Ocean Spray is under the header "Other Brands" and there's a blue donkey by its' side, meaning they contribute mostly to Democrats.
Folgers is the only brand of coffee that will consistently give me a pounding migraine and the Hershey squirts at the same time 🤢 hard pass.
Califia farms... Time to move on, hipster friends.
