Oh, daily! Because the kitten will nap with me under the blankets, and the kitten tells me I must nap, and it's illegal to ignore a kitten. So the kitten tells me.

I don’t nap, but it baffles me that someone would be horrified over someone else having regular naps. If a nap takes you to your happy place, you do you.
Yep! I'm an old lady that loves naps, no big deal
Never. I do not have the ability to fall asleep during the day.
If I nap, I can't sleep when actual bedtime rolls around. So, pretty much only when I'm sick.
As an adult only on the rare occasions when I’ve missed a night of sleep entirely and I wouldn’t exactly call it a nap at that point
If I'm at home, every day.
I can not nap. I've tried, but I can't fall asleep at all during the day. Hell, I barely fall asleep at night and that is with medication.
Pretty much only occasionally when I'm sick or really hungover -- and then only before late afternoon. I get strong sleep inertia, so if I'm not careful, a nap means I'm groggy all evening then can't fall asleep at a reasonable time. 😞
I love napping , almost every day!!!
I almost never nap. I stay tired for an hour or so after waking up, so if I sleep I need to account for the time I need to wake up afterwards, since I don't really do anything useful in that time. Because of this, I only use naps when I really need to, and I try to sleep for at least 3-5 hours if I go to sleep at all.
Only when the following conditions apply.
-
I’ve screwed up my sleep cycle. (At least once a week. You know, because digital entertainment exists…)
-
I’ve had to wake up early. (very often)
-
I feel tired in the afternoon. (a bit rare)
-
There’s nothing urgent going on in the afternoon. (often)
On average, I tend to take a 1-2 naps every week. If I did that every day, it would be a sign of something gone horribly wrong with my life.
Obviously, at least twice a day.
Less jokey, that's not untrue some days. I'm fucking old inside. Farting makes me tired.
Every day if I can. I love me my nap.
About once every other day. Sometimes once a day if it's a rough week
Less now that we drink less alcohol in the evenings and don’t eat so much carbs
That said, having a 3 year old kid can be exhausting at times and I need a power so after getting up at 6 after waking up multiple times a night
Oh I hate napping! Makes me feel so horrible and I dread it if I'm tired in the day
At minimum every Sunday. Also after work depending on what time I get home; I have a very variable schedule. So I guess, every chance I get.
If I've not slept well I have a 15 minute nap after breakfast. I like to nap again after lunch or around 3pm when I'm flagging.
Sometimes twice a day, about a third of days.
My sleep cycle is currently a mess, but when it's well-oiled I typically take a 20min nap after lunch every day.
I had a nap yesterday afternoon, which is probably the first for several months. However, I am on holiday for a couple of weeks now, so will probably be having more over that time.
Nowhere near as much as I'd like to!
On weekends when I went to bed late the day before because my inner clock makes me always want to wake up at 6:30 the latest.
Never. I'm having enough trouble sleeping at night and I think napping your life away isn't a great idea anyway.
Almost never. I usually wake up feeling worse after I nap, so I only really have them if I'm feeling sick or slept poorly the night before.
Maybe once a month, typically to try to compensate for a drastic sleep schedule shift.
Only if I have to get up particularly early for something and also have to time to nap later in the day.
I try not to. Waking up is terrible. It takes me hours to wake up in the morning. And it feels awful when I wake up from a nap too. I will make exceptions when I feel terrible. And everyone here dozed all day Sunday. It was a lazy rainy day.
