Just to point out the website and OP is pretty far out there. People can find better things to back up their point or read about the problems of the the bill.

The site pretends to be free speech absolutist except for the instances the right wing does it, then it's silence. For anyone else any type of regulation is tyranny.

The voices of opposition in the article are MPs of the NDP and members of the CCLA. Both "left" organizations. I don't know what your agenda is to disparage discourse from sources you disagree with. I guess it's a hard pill to swallow that this isn't a left or right fight anymore. It's an authoritarian vs libertarian fight. The Liberal party has been authoritarian for some time. When you start associating libertarianism with the "right", well... welcome to indoctrination my friend.

Absolutely abhorrent

We're trying to give significant concessions in a negotiation with someone who doesn't give a rats ass about anything other than superfluous and gaudy bells and whistles. Turning Canada into a surveillance state is all the loss of our rights, and in return for that we won't even nudge the needle with the Trump administration on the tariffs the felon is obsessed with.

This is not being done for the benefit of the felon. It's for the benefit of all Canadian Government parties who do not represent the people. Hint... it's all of them.
