Yeah actually I think you do. Make it clear that under no uncertain terms that your democratic senator should immediately begin doing everything they can do to grind the capital to a halt that you and other like you will be relentless in ensuring that they're not re-elected.

Using NATO to stop Trump, you want WW3? Because that's how you get WW3. You're not going to get any help until you help yourselfs. It's your house, you have to clean it up. If you need an idea of a place to start, I'd start with the Democrats.
If you have democratic senators you should be a thorn in their side about why aren't they grinding the Senate to a halt. Why they aren't using every tool available to resist senate Republicans. The Republicans did when Obama was president and he wasn't a fascist. Now seems like a good time to start using all those republican cheats to blanket obstruct the Senate and Congress.
If you have republican senators you should be getting involved with the democratic party, first screaming and dragging everyone you know with you. Then demanding over and over that the old game is dead and they need you and the people to get out of this.
Regardless, no one is coming to save you. You need to first believe that you can actually work with your neighbors, then saves yourselves. Tons of Americans have been begging for your help to stop Trump for over a decade now and you thought it was just their job to take care of it. Well guess what, it was yours too and you failed to answer the call.
I'm not American so I'm not in as desperate a situation as you might be. That said, I have had the same discussions with many people and I've learned a few things.
One, ignoring a problem and hoping that it goes away is a totally natural coping strategy that works more often than we care to admit. It's a perfectly appropriate coping strategy when you're waiting out winter, but it's maladapted to stopping fascists from knocking on your door.
Two, people only have so much bandwidth. Their jobs, kids, school work, and just existing takes up that bandwidth. When someone's bandwidth is maxed out the only time I've been able to reach them is when they're already thinking about something I have a very strong argument that aligns with their goals. Otherwise it's a waste of time, they're worried about getting their kids fed and in bed, they don't have the brain power to think about how they could help overthrow the oligarchy.
Three, when those opportunities arise patience is key. Listen way more than than I speak, always keep the conversation focused on what they're concerned about.
'Know when to hold em, know when to fold them. Know when to walk away, know when to run.'
I know this is just splitting hairs but for brief periods of time democratic principles did coexist with a capitalist system. For example, the post-WWII economic and civil rights booms existed inside of a capitalist system. It's just that they can't coexist for very long because they're based on competing ideologies. Plus if it takes a world war to accomplish a brief respite in the class struggle it's a very costly coexistence.
Trump is the only person smart enough to play a game of 5D-chess this well.

Apologizing while doing terrible things to teach a lesson is the Canadian way. Just look at how they treat native Americans.
I'll be here all week folks!
That would be socialism because the power and profit of the company are eventually distributed throughout the workforce regardless of their capital investment.
An average person should never disassemble a microwave. Your microwave contains an enormous capacitor which if it's bleed-off resistor is burnt out can hold a lethal amount of energy for many hours and can electrocute you.
But lean a little closer and see, that roses really smell like poo-poo-pooh.
As a child I was labeled a bad writer because my writing was so sloppy it made a doctor's prescription look like typed text. I'd always choose a pencil over a pen. Then in college a friend let me use their nice pen and I could write so much better. Turns out I was just always using the cheapest pens possible, and that sometimes quality does come at a cost worth paying.
Completely left out the rest of the world lol
If you read the article, just a gesture with your arm does not land a person a 12-month prison sentence. It needs to be in public and in combination with: hateful speech, or a hateful act. It seems to be an add-on for specific types of hate crimes.
