If gas companies are given an excuse to increase profits they will. No different than grocery stores overcompensating for inflation.

Isn't this policy sorely needed? Cleaner fuel, maybe higher prices, both of which help slow climate change. We are all trying to switch away from buying gasoline, right? right???
I think it's being rolled out too slowly.
At this point, everything that comes out of Polievre's mouth is utterly predictable:
"The policy Trudeau just announced will lead to disaster!!!1! Alternative? Why would I bother formulating one of those?"
News outlets should just copy and paste that at the end of every story about government without bothering to actually ask him for comment. Tedious as hell.

I hate PP with a passion, I disagree with almost everything he says, but he isn't a Nazi. He's just a politician acting for his base, who care far more about money than they do other people or the environment.

He defends genocide and uses antisemitic tropes.
