Personally I'm on the main matrix.org server, with a backup on Mozilla's (https://chat.mozilla.org/#/welcome)

Hmmm just the url of kitsunes.chat doesn't really appeal to me I'm leaning toward matrix.org but I'll spend a little more time and see I suppose
Shame that matrix.ca is already registered even though it points to nothing right now. I was thinking of volunteering to cover that cost (depending on renewal fee) if someone was willing to help out with spinning up a matrix server.

I've contacted them to see if they would be willing to transfer it to us. Figured I'd have better luck as a Lemmy admin then just someone random. The domain name is under $20 a year so it's a non issue.
Amazing!! Hopefully they're open to it, it would be great to have both lemmy.ca and matrix.ca available.
I wondered that too and eventually registered on the main Matrix server. Oh well :)
I kind of down want to do that. But it seems harder to find a Matrix server than a Lemmy/Mastodon instance
Let's see what the current owner of matrix.ca says.
