How? I just got my voting card on Monday!

I just looked it up. Apparently I can just go vote at an elections Canada office anytime, 7 days a week during open hours. Like 10 mins from my house. Didn't know that was an option.

I did that just after 9:00 a.m. on the Monday after the election was announced. I had to deal with poll workers still being trained, so that took a little longer, but it certainly wasn't busy!

I'd like to think that I was one of the first people in Canada to vote, but realistically, I'm sure there were people in the maritime say ahead of me.

You don't need your voting card to vote.

The simplest way is to go to the advance polling center on the dates and address listed on your voter's card. There are a few ways to do it though, they're detailed here at the elections.ca website:

Requested a mail in ballot two weeks ago. Took a week to arrive. Returned same day.

I sent mine out same day, but I doubt it got there already.
