As a 52 year old that has been skateboarding since the 1970's I take great offense with anyone that tries to gatekeep skateboarding. Skateboards are always cool.

I think it's all about perspective. Say the Patty Cake one. A 30 year old doesn't seem "cool" doing it according to the chart. But a 30 year old who sits down with a 5 year old and does it... That kid thinks they are pretty cool.
Being at the bottom of the half pipe isn't cool though.

I've been skating since 1986. The first time someone asked me if I was too old for it was in 1987. That question is really only in the eye of the beholder.

There are definitely patty cake cool bumps when you become a parent of a toddler and a grandparent of a toddler. In those moments your coolness is off the chart.
FYI (because I had to look it up) Juuling is just vaping with a smaller type of vape....

Na, juuls use a salt crystal delivery system, vapes use an oil base concentrate.
Salt nic is not exclusive to Juul, and only weed vapes use an oil. Vape juice is propylene glycol and vegetable glycerol with flavoring and nicotine.
(Source here is me, went to vapes to successfully quit smoking back when there was more threading than a 510, when mods were a milled tube and a button or flashlight guts, with an rca connector on top so you could switch between different thread types. It sucks what its become, it was really helpful for me to quit nicotine completely by having a vape.)

people can afford to live alone?
I did for about two months before COVID, then immediately needed a roommate to afford to live again.
I'm 62. I retired in January. In February, my 30-year marriage ended. I'm living alone for the first time in decades, and I never really did it very long before (a few years in my late 20s. It's very strange. at this age.
Wowβthat is a lot of major life events crammed into 2025. Be nice to yourself. Often.

Patty-cake does not reach maximum coolness at about age 9.
I remember patty-cake games being super popular in elementary school, and it switched to hacky sack games in late middle school through high school. I think the graph is accurate.

Yea, needs a new upswing at 70 for "living alone" like, it's potentially sad, but just being able to live on your own gets more impressive the older someone is
As a person who quit smoking before vaping was created, I wholeheartedly support anyone who vapes as a way to get off cigarettes. Those thingsβll kill ya.
