Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Amazing! Nothing ever gets by these guys! Nothing!

[–] I_Has_A_Hat@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago

So what? No really, so what? If crimes are not prosecuted, then they aren't really crimes, are they? Nothing will come of this, nothing ever does.

[–] Lucky_777@lemmy.world 65 points 1 day ago

Lmao, we all knew he was selling secrets for cash.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 10 points 23 hours ago

Here's some things to think about ...

Firstly that obese thing stole all those boxes in a rush because he thought he was going to win, or that the insurrection would keep it in power indefinitely.

Which leads us to now, just imagine what info/secrets the family of criminals are stealing every single day for when the disgusting blob dies/is forced to leave office after trying to be a dictator for life?

Nope. All 30,000 files were necessary. Great bathroom reading don't you know. /s

You haven't taken a real shit until you've wiped your ass with classified papers.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

You joke, but I'm 100% sure some of those classified documents were about Obama. And they were in the bathroom for this exact reason.

Oh shit, did we forget about all this treason?

Nice. So, yeah.

And remember how there were office printers in the rooms with these stacks of documents? Nothing but boxes and a pro level printer in each of these rooms?

Every photo shows this. A room full of boxes and a very nice printer.

Good lord, I’m not the only one who remembers these photos??

Wake me up when he’s in jail or in the headbasket.

I mean, it's an important headline, and I'm glad it's out there, but...

yes. Anyone paying attention already knew this. This is for the benefit of those who haven't, and to create a record.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago (2 children)

He will live till he's 150 and he'll be the president of the US till death.

[–] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Yeah, probably. The preservatives in the burgers are sealing his fate.

[–] ChickenLadyLovesLife@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Or he'll die and they'll keep pumping out AI deepfakes to pretend he's still alive. Or maybe that's already happened.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 1 points 17 hours ago

Haha, I think that's why Russia banned Pelevin, probably the US should too

[–] disorderly@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Like anyone who's been paying the least bit of attention, I was wondering "wait, what's new here?"

In a letter sent Tuesday to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Raskin said the documents point to a broader risk to national security, writing: “These new disclosures suggest that Donald Trump stole documents so sensitive that only six people in the entire U.S. government had access to them, that the documents President Trump stole pertained to his business interests.”

This is more interesting than the headline, in my opinion. The claim that they "pertained to his business interests" is not exactly the same thing as selling them to the highest bidder. It suggests either that Trump's businesses are the subject of intense scrutiny by the fed or, more likely and more worrying, Trump is much deeper into brokering sensitive information than we expected (as in, it's one of his main sources of income).

[–] ReluctantMuskrat@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago

He had long historical ties to the Russian mob, mostly through real estate transactions in both New York and Florida, all before he was President. NYT did stories on this and found lots of supporting info. Imagine what the FBI could dig up if motivated.

[–] pulsewidth@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

I mean, it's what everyone assumed?

It's the main reason that cunt does anything.

[–] ALoafOfBread@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 day ago

Ya don't say...

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Why the fuck else does he do anything at all?

[–] robocall@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

[–] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago
