Donald Trump was reportedly “unhappy” and “frustrated” after learning Elon Musk would be briefed at the Pentagon in March on secret U.S. war plans involving China.
Who the fuck is in charge here? I mean, it's obvious Trump sold the Presidency to Musk for the $290mil he spent getting Trump elected and as a result - out of prison. But it still needs to be said. There is nothing normal about a President being upset because he "found out" that an unelected neo-Nazi from South Africa is being briefed on war plans. Trump isn't just the weakest President of all time, he's a straight-up puppet.

You know what trips me out the most. As of right now, Elons net worth is $360,000 million dollars. He spent $290 Million dollars. Let's just drop the million and imagine you made $360,000 last year and it only cost you $290 dollars to become president. The amount of money this person has is just staggering. He should be taxed 100% at this point.
Imagine life was a game. You lived for 2025 years. You worked 260 days / year. You made the median US salary.
You would need to relive that process 3,145 times to match an Oligarch.
That amount of wealth is unethical while humanity suffers. No one can really fathom “1b dollars.”
That's income, though, not net worth. Imagine you've got $250k in your 401k and you spent $250.
I get there is a difference, but the 401k thing is not exactly correct either. He can borrow money against his net worth. Yes, while it's not 100% accurate, it's still pennies to him.
This is the correct answer. Musk bribed the election outcome in an unimaginably vicious attack on democracy. Therefore it should be expected that Felon Drink Bleach be beholden to Sieg Heiling Space Karen.

I hope this is not news to anyone, but Trump does not give a fuck about conflicts of interest as was made abundantly clear by his first term. What he cares about is looking good; specifically in making sure that everyone remembers he is king dick of the universe and Musk is subordinate.
- He said he wouldn't include Musk in the briefing to establish that impression.
- Obviously he was lying and was going to include him anyway; oligarchs don't spend that kind of money without making sure they're getting value for it.
- Now he's making excuses for having done what he always intended to do so he can maintain the illusion that he is in control.
- But also he's a moron, so this excuse makes it look like he's not keeping his house in order, and any remotely media-literate adult can see through this shit clear as day.
Maybe he should appeal to Congress to impeach musk.

Because he said that he wouldn't be in order to establish that he was in control, so when it comes out that he's not (which we all knew anyway) he looks weak and stupid. So he's issuing excuses, only he's a moron so the excuses make him look even less in control. But it's okay, he'll have nappy time in 5 minutes and forget about this and the American media will conveniently forget along with him.

It's not even that he has business in China. He has also stated that Taiwan is part of China and that China-Taiwan tensions could be alleviated if Taiwan gave up some of it's territory to China. He has already chosen to side with the adversary in any future indo-pacific conflict.

He's on Musk's payroll, conflicts of interest that benefit Musk do benefit Trump, so I think it's rather that he only cares when they make him look bad.
