Either tacos/burritos, or any Asian noodle soup (pho, ramen, udon)

Ooh. We have an Asian Latin fusion place that's delicious! Check this out! https://maps.app.goo.gl/1fKt5Fs2UJXUsawF9

Peking duck, the hoisin sauce, fatty meat and cucumbers perfectly balance each other while the pancake absorbs the juices and keeps it easy to eat. Nothing else comes close.

That ones is very difficult, there are so many favorites like Israeli Sabbich, Korean Beef BBQ, Silesian beef roulades and so on. But the thing for what I think tastes best is:

Tuna Sashimi

It's the food which brings me back to Japan over and over. I couldn't find this quality anywhere else in the world and god knows I tried.

Eggs, in particular runny yolks.

For something more elaborate then I'm a fan of most Japanese cuisine.

For something specific, then, pizza but only Dad's pizza and veal schnitzel but only Mom's schnitzel

Sammmmeeee...

It's a close tie between that, or a good blackend burger with blue cheese and sauteed mushrooms and onions...

A Thai restaurant I go to has this amazing matsaman curry dish with jasmine rice. Just an unbelievable taste that I order on many special occasions like my birthday.

Another amazing dish actually came from Hello Fresh. It's a bibimbap style rice bowl made with beyond meat and the flavour profile just hits everything I love. Nice and salty but also nice and spicy. I could eat this all day every day. It was one of the recipes offered the first week we tried Hello Fresh and I thought their recipes must be amazing, but nothing else ever compared to this.

I'm simple.

Mac n cheese for savory.

Dark chocolate for sweet.

a good old fashioned German rouladen. Gotta dice up the bacon though, no cheating.

After that, maybe Romanian sarmale, but only my wife’s. I’ve had dozens of variants, including what my wife says is superior, but it’s hers that’s the best.

After that, a specific Mici recipe.

Dammit, now I’m really hungry!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

Based on your rouladen description I’d try the other two.

Those sesame ginger salads you get at fancy japanese steakhouses.

Probably venison, with a nice hot or cold salad, freshly baked bread or some flatbread, naan/pita/tortilla, doesn't matter.

Cheeseburgers

Dank brekfast sandwiches. Like from an amish market. I'm talking actual giant slabs of sausage they slap onto the grill and cut up. And fresh eggs. Fresh cheese. Amazing bread. That's heaven.

That fake crab stuff at a chinese buffet with cheese and celery and stuff. I think its called seafood surprise.
