Hello! Set up 2FA with authy, logged in on Connect, never a problem logging in on Firefox. Downloaded eternity and I get a bad 2FA error when I try and log in. Firefox takes my user and password now, pops up the 2FA box, but then doesn't load/give an error message. Is my 2FA unsynced?

I've seen this happen before, even to myself, but I'm not sure the cause.

Need the 2fa token removed off your account? Then you can reenable it

Sure, thank you! Let's start with that and go from there. Do I need to do anything on my end? Back anything up?

It's off now, you can just go turn back on in your settings.

Ok, same behaviour is happening with both the app and web. Can't seem to attach screenshots in comments on Connect, but I have them and can send if you tell me where.

Are you getting prompted for 2fa still? Try once more? I just gave the server a quick restart in case it's cached something.

Still being asked for 2FA on both the website and the Eternity app, my current 2FA doesn't work on either.

Odd. I just tried setting to null instead of ''. Try now?

If that doesn't work, I'll need to reset your password temporarily so I can test as you (then change it back to the old hash so you can login again)

Setting to null worked! Logged in and posting from the web, logged in on the app, no 2FA request. Thank you for your help!

Do I turn 2FA back on myself, or do you need to change null to blank first?

Nope go for it and just enable it again.

I'm not sure of your use case but I had a 2fa otp type iasue while travelling, it was timezone setting not matching. Fixing the timezone and clock fixed authorization.

No travel for me, but good to know in case it happens when travelling.

I am 99% sure my carrier auto-sets my time zone in my phone, and I can't find a time zone setting in connect or authy. Where/how did you change your timezone/clock?

I don't know those specific apps, my time zone and time were messed up on the device itself.
